51³Ô¹Ï has now formally responded to the consultation on the proposal of a separate pay scale for nurses. The response from 51³Ô¹Ï members was clear, they felt that the proposal to move to profession specific pay arrangements for the nursing profession would create divisions and create a sense of other professions feeling under-valued. Thank you to all the members who provided feedback on this issue. We will monitor the situation closely and report back on the outcomes of the consultation.
